Training & Skills

Crest Industrial Services are proud of their staff. We work in some challenging environments and use specialised equipment. It is important our staff are competent and that they and our customers’ staff are safe.

As part of ISO 9001 we hold a training register. This helps us ensure all our staff skills are kept current. As we buy and update our equipment, staff training is kept up-to-date too.

Some training is carried out in house or at our customer’s sites.

We also undertake accredited training including by UKAS, RTITB, AITT, City & Guilds, UKTATA and Federation for Industry Sector Skills and Standards.

Training includes all the equipment from fork lift trucks to rough terrain telescopic handlers. Confined space, appointed person lifting operations, atmospheric hazards and gas testing, asbestos awareness, COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and of course first aid are just a few of the training courses our staff attend.
