John Hammond is the Crest Site Manager having previously worked on bespoke remediation projects for Crest abroad, John was to find himself operating for Crest throughout the Middle East on a project by project basis. John originally joined Crest in 2002 for one bespoke project and after working on multifarious projects both home and abroad for Crest joined the company of a full time basis in 2011.
Working at their site at Ellesmere Port as site supervisor responsible for the day to day operations of personnel John was then promoted to site Manager at our Manchester site where his current role encompasses full responsibility for all daily operational issues.
In John’s younger days John was an apprentice footballer at Tranmere Rovers FC and having played local amateur football for a number of years today is an avid Liverpool FC supporter. John, having played sport for most of his life John is still active today as in his spare time he is a keen marathon runner having completed over 100 individual marathons around Europe, has ran two one hundred mile races done ten marathons in ten days, completed the VICHY Ironman in France and in 2018 will run in the Marathon Des Sables running the equivalent to five and half marathons across the Sahara desert. John has managed to raise in excess £50K for multifarious but mainly children’s charities.
